Family: My wife, Carrie, and our kids, Elizabeth, 17, Amber, 14, and Gage, 7.

Hobbies: Hunting and fishing

What do you like about North Idaho? I like the recreational sports opportunities, the fact that it’s really beautiful. I like the great variety of people here.

What do you like or dislike about the current season? Too much rain. It’s not good for my business.

Favorite spot in North Idaho? Why? It’s Hoodoo Mountain. I’m building a cabin there, and you can see forever.
