Infant in foster care after meth raid
Fueled by information gathered during a domestic violence call earlier this week, police raided a West Central home on Thursday to arrest a couple suspected of dealing meth.
Their 2-month-old child was taken by Child Protective Services and put in foster care, according to Spokane police Officer Tim Moses.
Wheeler J. Paavola, 25, and Jessica A. Sweet, 30, were arrested on suspicion of possession and intent to deliver meth.
Paavola has been arrested numerous times on drug charges, according to past reports in The Spokesman-Review.
Police served their search warrant about 6 p.m. at 1854 W. College Ave. and found baggies of crystal meth, scales and several thousand dollars in cash, according to Moses.
