Men’s soccer
John Reha’s goal in the 32nd minute was all Gonzaga needed in a 1-0 West Coast Conference win over San Francisco at GU’s Martin Field.
The Bulldogs outshot the Dons 14-5.
GU improved to 9-3-3 and 4-1-3 in the WCC while San Francisco fell to 6-8-1, 2-5-1.
Women’s soccer
Erika Teixeira scored an unassisted goal in the 72nd minute to give Idaho a 1-0 win over San Jose State in a Western Athletic Conference match in San Jose, Calif.
The Vandals improved to 5-11-1 and 1-4-1 in the WAC while the Spartans dropped to 4-13-2, 2-4.

Wrestling
North Idaho defeated Yakima Valley 37-12 after beating Highline 32-14 in Coeur d’Alene.
Brett Fredricksen, wrestling at 197 pounds, led the way for the Cardinals. Fredricksen pinned Highline’s James Jensen in 26 seconds and then pinned Yakima Valley’s Tyler Bullington in 23 seconds.
Women’s basketball
Jennifer Garner had 22 points and Stacey Howard added 19 points and 10 rebounds to lead Northeastern JC to a 76-69 overtime win over North Idaho at the Casper College Tournament at Swede Erickson Gymnasium in Casper, Wyo.
Danika Lawson had 12 points and eight rebounds to lead the Cardinals.
Women’s golf
Idaho senior Kelly Nakashima was named the Western Athletic Conference Women’s Golfer of the Month.
