How to help

Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner – SANE – programs provide prompt, thorough treatment and careful evidence collection for victims of rape and sexual assault. Organizers are starting the first SANE program in Spokane. They’re looking for help:

Interested people to serve on the nonprofit board.

Funders to help offset an estimated $50,000 to $80,000 in start-up costs.

Nurses and other medical personnel interested in future SANE trainings.
