No recount for ballot measure

No recount would be completed on the ballot measure to increase the sales tax for emergency communications equipment unless a group of five registered voters submits a written request to the Spokane County Elections Office. That’s because ballot measures are not subject to automatic recounts. Because of a reporter’s error, a brief Friday said otherwise.

Wrong number

The phone number for the Moscow Arts Commission is (208) 883-7036. It was listed incorrectly in Thursday’s Art Calendar due to incorrect information provided to the newspaper.
