EVAN MOORE, STANFORD RECEIVER
The 6-foot-7 senior gives the Cardinal a weapon on the outside that few teams have. This season he’s caught 30 passes for 367 yards, an average of 12.2 per reception. Still, Moore, who has 94 career receptions, is the Cardinal’s possession receiver, the guy they go to on third down.
BOBBY BYRD, WSU LEFT GUARD
The Cougars’ only senior on the offensive line, Byrd will be starting his 40th game in his five years in Pullman. The 6-7, 308-pound Byrd started nine times at left guard as a redshirt freshman before moving to left tackle as a sophomore. Moving back inside this season, he has combined with center Kenny Alfred and right guard Dan Rowlands to give WSU a strong core of the offensive line.
CLINTON SNYDER, STANFORD LINEBACKER
Snyder is big (6-4, 230 pounds) and he can run, as his six sacks and nine tackles for loss attest. A hard hitter (he’s forced two fumbles and recovered two more), he leads the Cardinal with 51 solo tackles and has been in on 79.
