Fairfield City Council – Council members finalized the CDBG grant application for the water-line replacement project. A representation from Spokane County Conservation spoke about using Fairfield as a testing area for a study on phosphate free dishwashing detergent; the council agreed. Rockford City Council – Council members discussed the preliminary 2008 budget. A budget workshop will be held Nov. 28 at 6 p.m. at City Hall. They voted to pass a nuisance ordinance regarding trash. They also voted to approve a draft emergency management plan. (Source: City Clerk)
