Kansas moved to 10-0 for the first time since it finished the 1899 season with that record, and is the only unbeaten team left in the six conferences with an automatic bid to the BCS after top-ranked Ohio State was upset by Illinois earlier in the day.

(7) Missouri 40, Texas A&M 26: At Columbia, Mo., Jeremy Maclin caught two touchdown passes, one to pull the Tigers (9-1, 5-1 Big 12) out of late trouble and the other on the school’s longest reception in 31 years, in a victory over the Aggies (6-5, 3-4).

Chase Daniel threw three touchdown passes for Missouri, which reached nine victories for the first time since 1969.

(11) Virginia Tech 40, Florida State 21: At Blacksburg, Va., Tyrod Taylor returned from a sprained ankle that kept him out 2 1/2 games and threw for two touchdowns and ran for another, lifting the Hokies (8-2, 5-1 ACC) to a victory over the Seminoles (6-4, 3-4).

The Seminoles lost quarterback Drew Weatherford to injury before halftime.

Wisconsin 37, (13) Michigan 21: At Madison, Wis., senior quarterback Tyler Donovan threw for one touchdown and scrambled for another as the Badgers (8-3, 4-3 Big Ten) held off a fourth-quarter rally to upset the Wolverines (8-3, 6-1).

Texas had to recover two onside kicks and keep punching the ball in the end zone to relieve a pass defense that was riddled by Tech quarterback Graham Harrell for 466 yards and five touchdowns.

Cincinnati 27, (16) Connecticut 3: At Cincinnati, Ben Mauk threw for three touchdowns and ran for another, leading the Bearcats (8-2, 3-2 Big East) to a victory over the Huskies (8-2, 4-1).
