Dems protect their own

The Spokesman-Review

“Not independent enough” is what Patty Murray just e-mailed us to justify why she didn’t vote for Michael Mukasey for attorney general.

When Clinton fired U.S. attorneys, Democrats never stopped that abuse of power. Instead they wasted time and my money to crucify daily Alberto Gonzales, determined to find “something” sinister in his firing of less than 1/10th of Clinton’s firings.

While mocking justice and truth with endless costly hearings, she now wants us to believe that Mukasey wasn’t worthy of her vote.

Did we not elect our president, which means he is “head honcho,” but they hold up and hang up every single decision, including refusing now to fund the war.

Does their plan include protecting only Democrats, when terrorists destroy more of our cities? Would that they were as committed to our nation’s welfare as to their party – otherwise destruction cometh to both.

Hello, this is a new type of enemy and while they fiddle away at our president – Rome is in flames!

They refuse to cooperate with him so we all lose in the end and a sad ending indeed to this most incredible “grand experiment.”
