In brief: Concert to benefit riding center

The Spokesman-Review

Harmony Ranch presents Diana Clemons in “Life is a Cadenza,” a concert to raise money for the therapeutic riding center in Rathdrum.

The concert will be held at 2201 Government Way Suite B in Coeur d’Alene on Dec. 9 at 2:30 p.m.

The cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children. Advanced tickets may be purchased by contacting Denise Wetzel at 762-2158.

Clemons is the program director of Harmony Ranch and a classically trained musician. The nonprofit ranch opened in 2006 and is for persons with physical, emotional, and mental disabilities, the elderly and at-risk children. Proceeds from the concert will be used to supply scholarships for children who could not otherwise afford the riding program.

Harmony Ranch could use donations of equine supplies, therapeutic tack, feed, office supplies, and advertising space. More can be learned about the program by looking at their Web site: www.harmony-ranch.org/.
