Finalists picked for Lilac Royalty Court

The Spokane Lilac Festival Association has announced the “Fab Fourteen” finalists for the Lilac Royalty Court.

The 14 contestants will compete to become one of six princesses and one queen for the 2008 Lilac Festival.

The finalists are Marilis Earle, Central Valley High School; Alexandra Cozza, North Central High School; Jeannette Thompson, West Valley High School; Tovah Yaron, Contract-Based Education; Kylee Denevan, Shadle Park High School; Brajee Jennings, Cheney High School; Leah Horton, Mt. Spokane High School; Lindsay Jarvis, East Valley High School; Kylie Berger, Gonzaga Preparatory School; Beth Lehinger, Ferris High School; Karmel Stone, Medical Lake High School; Kaylee Van Gelder, University High School; Alyssa Robinson, Freeman High School and Sarah Crowley, Lewis and Clark High School.

The Royal Court judging will be held Feb. 9 at the DoubleTree Hotel, and the coronation ceremonies will be Feb. 10 at the Spokane Masonic Center at 3:30 p.m.
