Gonzaga University (6-2-1) extended its unbeaten streak to six matches with a 1-0 non-confence women’s soccer victory over UC Santa Barbara (3-5-2) Sunday afternoon at Martin Field.

Nanda McCormick scored her 18th career goal at the 64 minute, 20 second mark off a corner kick. Lauren Dascenzo tipped the ball before McCormick knocked it into the net for the lone goal of the game.

•Abby Jensen scored twice and Cyetta Mott scored the game-winner to lead the Eastern Washington Eagles (4-4) to a 3-2 non-conference win over the San Jose Spartans (1-7-2).

•Kiersten Dallstream pounced on a loose ball, dribbled in the box and fired a shot past the Idaho State goalkeeper in the second half to give the Washington State Cougars a 1-1 non-confernce tie with the Bengals at Pullman.

The Cougars (6-1-2) had to settle for a tie despite outshooting the Bengals (4-3-3-) 24-9.

•Jodie Taylor converted a penalty kick in the second overtime to give the Oregon State Beavers (7-2-1) a 2-1 non-conference victory over the Idaho Vandals (4-5) at Corvallis, Ore.

Anna Edmonds tallied for Idaho with an assist from Jennifer Hull.

•Adrienne Folsom dribbled in from 30 yards out and put a hard shot past Whitworth goalie Krista Dietz and the Puget Sound Loggers took over first place (10-0, 6-0) with a 1-0 Northwest Conference victory over the Pirates (8-1, 5-1) at Tacoma.

•Cierra Boots scored two second-half goals to lead Feather River Community College to a 3-1 non-conference victory over North Idaho College at Quincy, Calif. Jennifer Putnam scored for the Cardinals (5-5-1).

Men’s soccer

Scott Blanchet sent the match into overtime with a late second-half goal and then scored the game winner in the extra session to give the Puget Sound Loggers (9-0, 4-0) a 2-1 Northwest Conference victory over the Whitworth Pirates (7-2-1, 5-1) at Tacoma.

Junior hockey

Brett Kellogg scored three goals and assisted on another to lead the Spokane Braves to a 5-3 Kootenay International Junior Hockey League victory over the Grand Forks Border Bruins at Eagles Ice-A-Rena.

Jeremy Anderson and Tyler Hyatt also scored goals for Spokane (3-4-2). Alex Lelwica had three assists.
