The Spokesman-Review

The Spokane Community College geology lecture series continues next week with a unique show on trekking across Alaska’s far north.

Marty Zajanc followed his desire for beauty to complete a 3,000-mile journey over nine separate treks across the northern wilderness, and will offer a slide show on Wednesday at 7 p.m. in the Lair auditorium at SCC, 1820 N. Green St.

The free lecture series has been well attended over the years and is open to the public.
