NEW FACES Clint Marshall has been hired by Unicep Packaging in Sandpoint as vice president of business development and chief financial officer. He previously worked at Telect and holds a business degree from the University of Idaho.

Charlene Plaster has been hired as a loan officer in HomeStreet Bank’s builder preferred lending department.

ALSC Architects has hired licensed architect Chad Schmidt. He has 11 years of experience in mixed-use, hospitality and corporate facility design.

Mike Stratton has been hired as purchasing manager at Unicep Packaging. He previously worked for Brass Eagle/Daisy Manufacturing in Neosho, Mo.

Monica Lay has been hired as a loan officer in HomeStreet Bank’s builder preferred lending department.

Joseph Esposito has been hired by Evans, Craven and Lackie in of counsel status. His practice includes civil litigation, mediation and commercial law.

Inland Physical Therapy and Sports Rehab has hired licensed physical therapist Jami Bean. She is a graduate of Eastern Washington University.

PROMOTIONS Kevin Holt has been promoted to partner at Wetzel & Wetzel. His practice includes land use law, real estate, litigation and personal injury.

Jim Minkler has been promoted to academic services officer for Community Colleges of Spokane. He was previously dean of instruction for social science, philosophy and transfer education at Spokane Falls Community College.

Ryan Backlund has been promoted to managing director of personal trust at the U.S. Bank Private Client Group.

He has been with the group for seven years.

Julie Bailey has been promoted to branch office administrator at the Edward Jones office in Coeur d’Alene.

Christopher Kerley has been promoted to partner at Evans, Craven and Lackie.

KUDOS Steve Slater, manager of Stellar Industrial Supply’s Spokane branch, was recently awarded the Affiliated Distributors MVP Award. The award recognizes excellence in leadership and results.

Teri Grubbs, owner of Postnet, was recently awarded the Letip of the Inland Northwest Member of the Year Award. She is president of the Coeur d’Alene/Hayden Afternoon Chapter of Letip, a business networking group.

ELECTED Robert Golden of Action Mortgage was elected president of the Escrow Association of Washington. He was a founding member of the association.

APPOINTED Lance Kissler, of Spokane, was recently appointed to a three-year term on the Advisory Council on HIV/AIDS by Gov. Chris Gregoire. He is a medial and online communications specialist at Eastern Washington University. The council advises the governor on HIV/AIDS programs and policy.

Molly Chavez, of Othello, has been reappointed to a three-year term on the State Interagency Coordinating Council for Infants and Toddlers with Disabilities and their Families by Gov. Chris Gregoire. Chavez is a disabilities/mental health specialist with the Washington State Migrant Council. The interagency council assists the Department of Social and Health Services and other state agencies coordinate policies regarding early intervention services.

NEW LOCATION The Rockwood Clinic Physical Therapy North group has moved to the Northpoint Office Building at 605 E. Holland Ave., Suite 112. The move from the old location on Country Homes Blvd. was effective Oct. 1.
