Quilt fair will benefit Mt. Spokane bands

More than 70 vendors have signed up for this weekend’s Mt. Spokane High School Bandstand Quilt and Craft Fair.

Hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. Entry fee is $1. Concessions, espresso and a bake sale will be available. The school is at 6015 E. Mt. Spokane Park Drive.

All fundraising proceeds are used to support the band students with instruments, uniforms, travel costs for competitions and awards. Last Saturday, Mt. Spokane took second place overall and won the AAA Large Band Division at the Cavalcade of Bands in Kennewick.
