Sandpoint wins

Ryan Armbruster completed 13 of 19 passes for 182 yards and two touchdowns and ran for two scores to lead Sandpoint to a 40-14 win over Moscow in an Inland Empire League game Friday in Moscow.
Sione Puailoa ran for 137 yards on 15 carries and one touchdown for the Bulldogs.
Jayson Washington opened the scoring with a 7-yard touchdown run in the first quarter to give the Bears an early 7-0 advantage, but Sandpoint scored the next 21 points to take control.
The Bulldogs improved to 5-3 overall and 1-0 in the IEL while Moscow dropped to 2-5 and 0-1 in league play.
Intermountain League
Ty Ketchum threw for two touchdowns to lead Kellogg to a 29-6 win over visiting Priest River (2-5, 1-3). After leading 15-6 at the half, the Wildcats (4-2, 2-1) outscored the Spartans 14-0 in the second half to put the game away. … In another Intermountain League game, Nick Puckett ran for two touchdowns to lead Timberlake (5-2, 3-0) to a 52-22 win over host Bonners Ferry (2-5, 2-1).
North Star League
Ben Shannon ran for three touchdowns in the first quarter and Kootenai cruised to a 54-0 shutout of host Mullan (4-3, 2-2). Jake Hall added a touchdown run and a 54-yard punt return for another score for the Warriors (6-1, 3-0). Because of the mercy rule, the game was called at halftime.
Great Northern League
Senior quarterback Bryan Peterson threw for 261 yards and four touchdowns, leading West Valley to a 49-20 win over visiting Cheney (4-3, 2-2). Parker Flynn caught five passes for 148 yards and two scores for the Eagles (3-4, 2-2), who led 35-7 at the half. … Elsewhere, Pullman (7-0, 4-0) recovered after falling behind 10-0 and beat visiting Riverside (4-3, 1-3) 28-10. Lucas Mathews threw for 248 yards and three touchdowns to guide Freeman to a 28-14 upset of visiting Kettle Falls (5-2, 5-2). Adam Collin threw for 124 yards and two touchdowns and Josh Eldred added 124 rushing yards and a score as Reardan took over the top spot in the Northeast 2B League with a 27-14 win over Lind-Ritzville in Reardan. The Indians came out strongly in the second half, outscoring the Broncos 21-7 after trailing by a point at halftime. Mike Osborn threw for 166 yards and two scores to lead Lind-Ritzville, which fell to 4-2 overall and 3-1 in the Northeast 2B League, while Reardan improved to 5-1 and 3-0 in league play. … In other league action, Davenport built a 26-0 halftime lead and cruised past host Selkirk (2-4, 0-3) 32-14 at Ione. P.J.
