Voice offers stories of human interest

The Spokesman-Review

Thank you for printing Ann Corcoran Petty’s excellent article on remembering what it was like growing up in a war town (Your Voice, Oct. 4).

My husband and I enjoyed watching the series “The War,” and it caused us to appreciate our freedoms more than ever.

Cindy Hval’s article on Dorothea Kennedy’s “Passion for miniatures” (Your Voice, Oct. 11) emphasizes the grandeur and creativity of the human spirit .

The human interest stories of the fine people of Spokane are something to look forward to in the Thursday Voice section. The stories of the ordinary and extraordinary are great features.
