Episcopal church plans annual carnival

The community is invited to an annual carnival next Saturday at the Episcopal Church of the Resurrection. The event will be from 3 to 5 p.m. at the church, 15319 E. Eighth Ave.

There will be prizes, games, food and a jumping castle. Tickets for the games are five for $1, and most games require two tickets. Halloween costumes are encouraged but not required. All are welcome to attend. Call the church office at 926-6450 for more information.

Fall bazaar

Millwood Presbyterian Church will host its annual fall bazaar and bake sale next Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the church, 3223 N. Marguerite Road. There will be crafts, holiday gifts and more.
