Fundraising event for ex CYT director

There will be a party Saturday at 7 p.m. at the Bing Crosby Theatre, 901 W. Sprague Ave., to raise funds for a former director of the Christian Youth Theatre.

Greg Papst was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 stomach cancer.

He is a military veteran and has no health insurance since he was working as an independent contractor when he was diagnosed.

Former participants from the past 10 years will be at the theater to sing songs, tell stories and reminisce.
