An Orofino, Idaho, man was arrested in connection with multiple felonies in Spokane, and explosive devices were found in his home, Clearwater County sheriff’s deputies said Saturday.

Brad Michael Self, 25, was arrested Friday at 14224 Highway 12, space 12, according to a press release by Detective Becky Drewery of the Sheriff’s Department. The charges included first-degree burglary, second-degree assault, first-degree robbery and unlawful imprisonment. They are related to a burglary in Spokane last month, she said.

Sheriff’s deputies and Orofino police assisted Spokane officers in serving warrants on Self. A search turned up explosive devices, Drewery said. The devices were removed and detonated at the Sheriff’s Department firing range.

According to the press release, other items found during the search included objects believed to be used in several Spokane crimes – numerous firearms and ammunition, a large amount of possibly stolen jewelry and several laptops.

Self is in the Clearwater County Jail on a $100,000 bond and has signed a waiver of extradition.
