» There's a little something for everyone going on today at the On Sacred Grounds coffee shop in Valleyford. The day begins with a self-critique "Can't Shoot Straight" camera club session at 11 a.m. People should bring their own picture to critique. Photographer Judy Hankel has a "Nostalgia" photo display of black-and-white and sepia prints at the shop. There will be an artist reception from 1 to 5 p.m.

» The final offering of the day is a book signing with local author C.K. Crigger, who specializes in sci-fi/fantasy and Western books. She'll be unveiling her latest publication, "Black Crossing: A Novel of the American West." She will be on site from 2:30 to 5 p.m. The shop is at 12212 E. Palouse Highway.
