Bugsy is 10 years old. His owner was taken to a nursing home where no cats are allowed. Bugsy is a loving boy. He comes when called and purrs loudly when given attention. Sweet and affectionate, he takes things in stride and enjoys sauntering about. He is quite large but graceful, almost regal. The tufts of hair at his neck look a little like a fancy scarf. His eyes are beautiful; yellow with green highlights and bronze-colored specks, like a vintage marble. Bugsy has many years of love left to give.

Anyone interested in adopting this cat or other animals can visit the SCRAPS shelter at 2521 N. Flora Road, call the shelter at 477-2532 or visit the Web at www.spokanecounty.org/animal. Cats cost $55.68 to adopt, which includes a license, neutering, vaccinations, a microchip implant and a trip to the veterinarian
