The Liberty Lake police reports from Sept. 3 through 10 included the following:

The long leash of the law was out last week citing two people for animal violations on Maxwell and Colt lanes near Madison Road. Speeding tickets were on the rise during the first week of school, including two citations issued for speeding in a school zone. All told, there were 26 tickets issued for traffic offenses. The hot street for tickets was Molter Road.

Kenneth William Chatfield, 44, Liberty Lake, was booked Sept. 8 for allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs near the intersection of Interstate 90 and Liberty Lake Road. He was also cited for driving while his license was invalidated.

Adam Cody Crowder, 34, Deer Park, was booked Sept. 4 on a felony fugitive warrant near the intersection of Third Avenue and Molter Road.

David Allan Moore, 29, Spokane, was cited Sept. 8 for alleged misdemeanor possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia in the 26000 block of Appleway Avenue.

Nathan W. Warden, 19, Coeur d’Alene, was booked Sept. 7 for alleged drunken driving.

Clifton Roy Wessels, 24, Liberty Lake, was cited Sept. 3 for driving without insurance near the intersection of Mission Avenue and Corrigan Road.
