Ball State 34, Navy 31 (OT): At Annapolis, Md., Jake Hogue’s 24-yard FG in OT sent the Cardinals (2-1) past the Midshipmen (1-2).

Connecticut 22, Temple 17: At East Hartford, Conn., Donald Brown had two TD runs as the Huskies (3-0) held off the Owls (0-3).

Mississippi State 19, Auburn 13: At Auburn, Ala., Christian Ducre scored the go-ahead TD with 5:15 to play and the Bulldogs (2-1, 1-0 SEC) upset the Tigers (1-2, 0-1).
