Voices now full color, free of charge
Today’s Valley Voice is the most colorful Valley Voice yet.
Starting today, find stories, features and photographs about neighborhood newsmakers in full color on every page.
Saturday’s Valley Voice will be full color throughout, too, and will continue to be available free of charge on newsracks and in bright red newspaper boxes throughout the neighborhoods it serves. Spokesman-Review subscribers will still get their Valley Voices delivered to their doorsteps.
Today also marks the debut of the West Plains Voice, a community newspaper serving neighborhoods in Cheney, Medical Lake, Airway Heights and Fairchild Air Force Base, also available free of charge on newsstands. Find news from all of the Voices online at www.spokesmanreview.com./voices, www.spokesmanreview.com/handle and www.spokesmanreview.com/prairie.
This summer the S-R plans to launch Web sites for each Voice. Like the print edition, these pages will be chock-full of neighborhood, sports and school news. These Web sites will also be interactive, giving readers the chance to be reporters by posting their own neighborhood news stories directly online through our Citizen Journal initiative. Stay tuned.
We hope you like the change to full color in the Valley Voice. We’re also trying to get more community news into the sections. If you’ve got news about events happening in your neighborhood, here’s how you can get it reported in your Voice:
