Living up to his name

The Spokesman-Review

Eastern Washington’s offensive line coach Aaron Best figures he spent almost two years trying to talk his wife, Kim, into letting him name their first child.

His efforts did not go unrewarded.

Last Saturday, Kim gave birth to a 10-pound, 7-ounce boy, Tank William Best, who, according to his father, “lived up to every bit of his name.”

Best, a former offensive lineman and four-year letterwinner at Eastern, said he lobbied long and hard for the name Tank and can’t wait for the birth certificate to arrive so it can become official.
