The following events and activities are scheduled during the communitywide Our Kids: Our Business campaign through April.
Spokane County
Saturday – America’s Kids Run, the world’s largest children’s running event for ages 5-12. All participants must pick up their race packets at the Spokane Convention Center trade show Friday, April 25, 3-8 p.m. For information, visit www.americaskidsrun.org.
Saturday – Free pinwheels, while supplies last, from Partners with Families and Children: Jacob’s Java, 526 S. Washington; Chuck E. Cheese, 10007 N. Nevada, and all participating Zip’s Drive-ins.
Saturday – Our Kids: Our Business Neighbor Day Festival, 10 a.m.-2 p.m., Cannon Park. (In the event of bad weather, festival will be moved to the West Central Community Center gym).
April 28 – “How to Become a Foster Parent” information meeting, 7-8 p.m., Deaconess Health and Education Center, Room 268. To register or ask questions, call (509) 468-0700.
