Ferris grad tied for 7th
Alex Prugh is in a four-way tie for seventh place after the third round of the Nationwide Cox Classic golf tournament at Champions Run in Omaha, Neb.
Prugh, a Ferris High School graduate who played for the University of Washington, shot an even-par 71 on Saturday to give him a three-day total of 201.
David Branshaw carded his third straight 64 and leads the tourney with a 192 total. Vance Veazey is three shots off the pace after a third-round 65.
Basketball
Nikola Koprivica totaled three points, two assists and a rebound in 12 minutes of play to help the Serbian team earn a 90-78 victory over Slovenia at the U-20 Men’s European Championships in Riga, Latvia.
Koprivica plays for the Washington State Cougars.
