EWU appoints student trustee

Fleming (The Spokesman-Review)

Courtney Fleming has been appointed to Eastern Washington University’s Board of Trustees as a student trustee.

She will be a second-year graduate student.

She is the 10th student member on the board and was appointed by Gov. Chris Gregoire.

Fleming replaces Isaura Gallegos, who served two years as the student trustee.

Her appointment was effective July 28 and runs through June 30, 2009.

She served as the executive vice president of the Associated Students of Eastern Washington University from June 2005 to June 2007.

Fleming received her B.A. in Business Administration at EWU and then entered the MBA program.

She is now a graduate assistant in the College of Business and Public Administration and a member of Graduate Affairs Council, Graduate Student Association and Department of Education Grant Committee.
