Youth and Teen Summer 2008 Improvisation Classes - Classes will focus on specific aspects of improvisation including story telling, mime, environment creation, improv games, character development and spontaneity. Route of the Hiawatha - The “crown jewel” of rail-to-trail mountain bicycle trails is operated by Lookout Pass Ski Area. Winds through 10 tunnels and seven high trestles. This 15-mile route crosses the Bitterroot Mountains between Idaho and Montana, best known for the long St. Paul Pass or “Taft” Tunnel which is 1.66 miles long. It’s all downhill with shuttle buses available to take you and your bike back to the top. Horse and Carriage Rides - Friday evenings through August. Travels through downtown Spokane, guests receive a complimentary rose, as well as a sheet of dining specials and some downtown restaurants. Spokane Children’s Theatre Auditions - 20-plus actors, singers, and dancers from age 7 to adult are needed for a new version of Alice in Wonderland, titled “Alice: The Musical.” Show opens on Oct. 11 and runs through Oct. 26.
