Courtyard Concert Series at Post Falls Library – Six Foot Swing, a local big band, performs from 7-9 p.m. at the Post Falls Public Library, 821 Spokane St. 773-1506.

North Idaho Fair and Rodeo – Today-Saturday, 10 a.m.-10 p.m. and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Kootenai County Fairgrounds, 4056 N. Government Way. Competitive exhibits in home arts, vegetables, field crops, flowers, livestock, and 4-H. Food, carnival rides, and entertainment. Arena events include Draft Horse Show and Pull, Motocross, PRCA Rodeo, and Demolition Derby.
