Two men sought in stabbing

From staff reports

Spokane police are looking for two men accused of stabbing a car owner with a screwdriver Wednesday in north Spokane.

The victim told police he went out to the parking lot of an apartment complex on the 8800 block of North Hill N Dale Street after noticing the interior light of his car was on, said Spokane police Officer Teresa Fuller. He confronted two men he found prowling his car and was stabbed by one of them.

The victim suffered non-life-threatening wounds, officials said. A friend took him to the hospital.

Police are looking for the men, Fuller said. One is described as 6 feet tall, with a heavy build and short blond hair. The other is described as 5 foot 8, with a thin build and dark hair long enough to be seen under the baseball cap he was wearing.

Anyone with information should call (509) 242-TIPS.
