2 Symphony in the parks

What: Spokane Symphony kicks off its new season with its annual pair of free concerts in local parks, featuring music selections from Holst, Copland, Tchaikovsky and, for good measure, “Raiders of the Lost Ark.”

When/Where: Saturday, 6-7:30 p.m. at Pavillion Park in Liberty Lake (pictured above) and Monday, 6-7:30 p.m. at Comstock Park on Spokane’s South Hill

Tickets: Free
