Grading the cougars: C-

Quarterback: C-

For a first start, Rogers showed he can find the open receiver and – surprise – run a little bit.

Running backs: B-

Tardy and Ivory ran hard and hit holes quickly.

Receivers: D+

Too many drops, a personal foul and a false start. On the receivers?

Offensive line: C

The patchwork group did a passable job, especially in the second half.

Defensive line: C+

They contained the outside but didn’t get enough pressure in passing downs.

Linebackers: B+

Trent had a highlight sack and nine tackles. Stripling, Evans and Dunn also played well.

Defensive backs: C

Coverage was tight until the end, when OSU figured out Bryant was just too tall.
