Theater Arts for Children will hold auditions for “Robin Hood” on Dec. 14 and Dec. 15 at 6:30 p.m. at the theater, 10814 E. Broadway Ave. in Spokane Valley. Leah Dach will direct the show.

Pet adoption fees waived this month

Spokane County Regional Animal Protection Service is waving all adoption fees for adult cats during the month of December, with the hopes that homeless cats in Spokane will have a home and a family this holiday season.

Nearly 3,000 cats are in need of new homes. Their waved fees will include their first year vaccination, health check, spay or neuter, and microchip. New owners would only be responsible for licensing his or her new cat.
