Autumn Brewington reported Sunday the $490 theft of a purse containing a wallet, cell phone, gift cards, keys and other items from The Shore Lounge, 115 S. Second St.

Tracie Mitchum, Sequim, Wash., reported Monday the $5,000 theft of a wedding band set from her room at Motel 6, 610 W. Appleway.

Kootenai County sheriff

John Tarver, Post Falls, reported Monday the $800 theft of a Polaris snowmobile and $100 damage to the tires of a utility trailer parked at the chain-up area at Milepost 27 on westbound Interstate 90 near Coeur d’Alene.

Patrick Washington, Spirit Lake, reported Monday the $2,500 theft of an MP40 German assault rifle from his home on the 31000 block of North Riffle Road.
