Liberty lake blotter

Things were pretty quiet for the Liberty Lake Police Department the week of Feb. 4-11, with only one arrest and a handful of citations. Police were called out on an abandoned vehicle and three traffic accidents. Laura J. Karlin, 20, of Spokane Valley, was arrested on charges of drug possession and property theft.

Police handed out three citations for failure to show liability insurance and other citations were given for license and plates required, speeding too fast for conditions, failure to obey a traffic control device and failure to stop at a red light.
