Jordan Harazin scored a game-high 13 points as Colfax earned the top seed to the regional tournament with a 46-36 win over Freeman in the championship of the District 7 1A tournament Friday night at Mead High School.
The four-time defending state-champion Bulldogs outscored the Scotties 11-6 in the first quarter and led 24-15 at halftime.
Freeman (20-2) was led by Carley Heinen, who had 11 points and nine rebounds.
The Bulldogs (18-4) advance to the District 6/7 1A regional as the top seed and will host a first-round game Tuesday.
Also at Mead, Lexie Zappone scored 13 points as Lakeside (Nine Mile Falls) routed Kettle Falls 57-27. Lakeside (13-10) plays Freeman at 8 tonight at Mead to determine the second and third seeds to regionals. Kettle Falls (9-12) plays Lake Roosevelt of the Caribou Trail League in Chelan at 3 p.m. today for the fourth and final seed.
•Morgan Manchester scored 20 points and Kelsi Jacobson added 17 as East Valley beat North Central 56-49 in a Greater Spokane League game at NC. The Knights (7-13) outscored the Indians 21-5 in the third quarter to erase a four-point halftime deficit. Andrea Depaolo had 20 points and Stephanie DeGon added 18 for NC (4-15).
•Kirsi Voshell scored 14 points and Pullman started strong and cruised past Cheney 67-33 in a Great Northern League game in Cheney. Katie Guettinger had 11 points and Shelby Cheslek added 10 for the Greyhounds (18-1, 13-0). Kyle Miller led Cheney (9-10, 7-6) with 10 points. … Elsewhere, Kylie Tareski scored 10 points and Gabrielle Daily added six points, six rebounds and six steals as Medical Lake (9-9, 7-5) beat visiting Colville (7-13, 4-10) 34-23. … Hannah Love scored 12 points and grabbed eight rebounds and Shaniqua Nilles added nine points and 12 boards to lead West Valley (15-4, 10-3) to a 53-28 win over visiting Deer Park. Dominique Swenson tallied a game-high 16 points and pulled down 12 rebounds to lead the Stags (1-19, 1-13). … Kellie McCann-Smith had 22 points, eight rebounds and six steals to guide Clarkston (10-9, 7-6) to a 57-46 win over visiting Riverside. Shea Spicer had 15 points and Kayte Holm added 13 to lead the Rams (10-10, 4-10).

Leif Parcell made two free throws with 2.2 seconds remaining to give Lakeside (Nine Mile Falls) a 46-45 win over Chewelah in the championship of the District 7 1A tournament at Mead High School. Kyle Stillar had 15 points and eight rebounds and Parcell finished with 10 points for the Eagles (12-10), who advance to the District 6/7 regional tournament as the top seed. Mike Naccarato had 13 points and Mike Schamberger and Forest Trampush added 12 points each for the Cougars (8-15). … Also at Mead, Taylor Vold and Jake Heinen scored 17 points apiece to lead No. 3 Freeman to a 56-46 win over top-seeded Colfax. Ryan Hamilton had a game-high 18 points and Jared Berarducci added 12 for the Bulldogs (15-7), who travel to Chelan today to play Omak of the Caribou Trail League at 4:30 p.m. for the fourth seed to the regional, which begins Tuesday. The Scotties (14-9) will play Chewelah at 6:30 p.m. today at Mead for the second and third seeds to regionals.
•David Butler scored 16 points and Nick Rijon added 15 as North Central beat East Valley 58-46 in a Greater Spokane League game at NC. D.J. Scott chipped in 12 points for the Indians (8-11), who outscored the Knights 31-24 in the second half. Danny Marshall tallied a game-high 20 points for EV (1-19).
•A.J. Sandford made two free throws with 28 seconds remaining to break a tie and give Pullman a 73-71 win over Cheney (13-6, 8-5) in a Great Northern League game in Cheney. Sandford finished with 24 points and Jaime Fertakis added 18 to lead the Greyhounds (17-2, 12-1). … Elsewhere, David Ramacus scored 19 points and Gardener Torrence added 14 points, 12 rebounds and seven assists to lead Medical Lake (8-10, 4-8) to a 64-47 victory over visiting Colville. Skyler Dumas had a team-high 11 points for Colville (9-11, 3-11). … Jordan Lupfer-Graham scored a game-high 24 points to guide West Valley (13-6, 9-4) to a 60-56 win over visiting Deer Park. Brad Rumann tallied a team-high 17 points for the Stags (9-11, 4-10). … Don Perconti scored a game-high 16 points and Dustin McConnell and Dale Entel added 11 apiece as Clarkston (13-6, 11-2) topped visiting Riverside 63-54. Mitch Chandler led Riverside (7-13, 2-12) with 12 points.
•Ed Wolfe scored 23 points and Matt Pleasants added 12 as Lake Roosevelt defeated Cascade 59-44 in a District 6 1A tournament game in Chelan. The Raiders play Brewster at 8 tonight for the title.
