Kyle Stillar scored 17 points and Leif Parcell added 14 as Lakeside edged visiting Cascade (Leavenworth) 55-54 in a 1A regional tournament game Tuesday at Nine Mile Falls.

Jordan Weddle scored 11 points and Fialele Coffin added 10 points and 10 rebounds for the Kodiaks, who held a 26-23 advantage in rebounds over the Eagles.

Brady Blankevoort added 13 points for Lakeside (13-10), the Northeast A League’s top seed.

In other tournament games, Joe Harris scored 28 points and Chelan got out to a quick start and eased past Chewelah 62-49 in Chelan. Cam Reister added 14 points for the Goats, who outscored the Cougars 21-9 in the first quarter. Mike Naccarato had 13 points and Stryker Smith added 10 to lead Chewelah (8-17), which will play Cascade Friday in a loser-out game at West Valley High School. Chelan will play Lakeside Friday at WV, with the winner claiming a spot in the state tournament. … Marc Soelberg scored 15 points and pulled down seven rebounds and Paul Heinen added 12 points and six boards as Freeman defeated Brewster 55-38 at Freeman. Taylor Vold chipped in 11 points for the Scotties (16-9), who outscored the Bears 17-6 in the fourth quarter to seal the deal. … Coby Dick tallied a game-high 24 points and Matt Pleasants added 14 as host Lake Roosevelt edged Colfax 54-53 in Coulee Dam. Jared Berarducci had a game-high 25 points to lead the Bulldogs (16-8), who missed a desperation 3-pointer at the buzzer that would have won the game. The Raiders advance to play Freeman at 5 p.m. Friday at West Valley, with the winner earning a spot in the state tournament. Colfax will play Brewster in a loser-out game at 5 p.m. Friday at WV.

Jordan Poynor scored 14 points and Mt. Spokane used a stellar second-quarter effort to beat North Central 35-32 in the final Greater Spokane League game of the season. Connor Haley added nine points for the Wildcats (11-9), who outscored the Indians 20-3 in the second quarter to take a 28-15 lead into halftime. Nick Rijon tallied a team-high 12 points for NC (8-12). The teams will play again Thursday at Rogers High to determine the first and second seeds to the regional tournament.

Joel Underdahl scored 16 points and Cody Moreland added 12 to lead host Lakeland to a 59-43 win over Sandpoint in a 4A Region I tournament game in Rathdrum. Free-throw shooting proved to be pivotal. The Hawks (7-14) were 20 of 26 from the line while the Bulldogs (6-16) were 8 of 13. Lakeland will play at Moscow (7-12) on Thursday and would need to beat the Bears twice to earn a spot in the state tournament.

Jonathon Fuller hit a 5-foot jumper with 4 seconds remaining to give Kellogg a 59-57 state-qualifying win over Bonners Ferry in a 3A District I game at North Idaho College. Ty Ketchum had 17 points and Jeremiah Big Spring added 12 to lead the Wildcats (16-5). A.J. Bennett and Aaron Hoisington had 14 points apiece for the Badgers (13-9). … Also at NIC, Aaron Corsi scored 27 points on 10-of-14 shooting and grabbed 12 rebounds to lead St. Maries to a 57-38 win over Priest River. J.P. Ramsey tallied a team-high 14 points for the Spartans (10-12), who were eliminated. The Lumberjacks (11-12) will play Bonners Ferry today in a loser-out, winner-to-state game at NIC.

Ethan Patzer scored a game-high 19 points to lead No. 4 Kootenai past No. 5 Coeur d’Alene Charter 33-29 in a 1A District I game at Kellogg High. Rory Ruskovich tallied a team-high 11 points for the Panthers (7-13), who were eliminated. The Warriors (9-11) advance to play Wallace (14-5) at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Kellogg. … In the other tournament game, Jeremiah Brunelle scored 19 points and Merlin Weaselhead added 15 as Lakeside routed Mullan 70-41. The Knights (13-5) advance to play Clark Fork (15-4) Thursday at 6 p.m. at NIC. The Tigers (3-17) were eliminated.

DeAngelo Jones scored 27 points and grabbed 10 rebounds and Griffon Jones added 21 points and 10 boards as Cheney routed Medical Lake 66-41 in a Great Northern League game in Medical Lake. The Blackhawks (14-6, 9-5) put the game away in the second half, outscoring the Cardinals 39-24. Gardner Torrence had 16 points and 12 rebounds to lead Medical Lake (8-11, 4-9).
