The Spokesman-Review

Nine Pac-10 teams have won at least nine non-conference games for the first time. The previous high was six teams, achieved four times, including last season. Five are in the current Associated Press Top 25 – WSU, UCLA, Arizona, USC and Stanford. … UCLA may be without reserve Michael Roll, the Bruins’ best long-range shooter, for a few weeks with a possible tendon injury in his left foot. … Arizona freshman Jerryd Bayless, who sprained a knee in practice last Friday, might miss this week’s games. … Tonight’s home game against UCLA will mark the first time this season Stanford has played a ranked team. … USC’s bench players are averaging just 10.4 points a game. … The Pac-10 went 46-4 in non-conference play against the other five western conferences.
