Buttercup has been at the shelter since Jan. 7, when she was picked up wandering near Spokane Falls Community College. She is quiet in her kennel so despite the fact that her eyes are a piercing blue, people seem to walk right by.

Buttercup is shy at first and a little timid. During her temperament test, she was found to be calm and sensitive. Although she is gentle enough to be around all people, she would do best in a home with children old enough to let her settle into her new surroundings at her own pace. If Buttercup is going to live with a canine friend, the dog should come and meet her first.

Come and meet this beautiful girl at Spokanimal CARE, 710 N. Napa St. The telephone number is 534-8133. Spokanimal is open seven days a week. Adoption fees are $79.50 and include neuter, rabies vaccine, license and microchip.
