Holy Trinity presents concert

Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, 1832 W. Dean Ave., will present the musical group Chanson Du Soir Saturday at 6:30 p.m.

The group includes classical guitarist David Isaacs and soprano Chelsea Camille, who have performed together since 2005, toured throughout the country and in 2007 recorded a CD, “Melancholie et Espoir.”

Admission is $10, but the church will accept more than that to cover the cost of those who can’t afford it.

Celtic Eucharist service

St. David’s Episcopal Church, 7315 N. Wall St., will present a contemporary Celtic Eucharist service Jan. 24 at 7 p.m.

The theme for the service is “Manifesting Divinity.” There will be a reception following the service and participants are asked to bring a finger-food snack or a favorite beverage to share.

Honoko observance

The Spokane Buddhist Temple, 927 S. Perry St., will present the Rev. Donald Castro from the Seattle Bestuin Temple Sunday at 3:30 p.m.

The service will include a special observance of Honoko, a memorial service for Shinran Shonin, the founder of Jodo Shinshu, who lived from 1173 until 1262.

Unity classes

The Unity Church of Truth, 2900 S. Bernard St., is offering two ongoing classes.

•The Course in Miracles is held Tuesdays at 7 p.m. The church will accept donations for admission. For more information, call the church office at 838-6518.

•There will also be a gentle stretch yoga class held Saturdays at 9:30 and 10:30 a.m. The cost is $55 for a six-week session or $10 for a drop-in class. For more information, call Robin at 455-5931.

Family movie night

Lidgerwood Presbyterian Church, 4449 N. Nevada St., will present a family movie Friday at 7 p.m.

This month’s movie is “Facing the Giants.” Free snacks and beverages will be available.

Christian singles

The Christian Singles Fellowship will hold its monthly meeting Saturday at 7 p.m. at North Addison Baptist Church, 6120 N. Addison St., in the Fellowship Hall.

This month’s topic is “Is Your Inbox Empty?” and the special speaker is Earl Dannen.
