NIC students honored

North Idaho College recently announced achievements for two of its local students.

James Zoshak, of Rathdrum, received a $1,000 Florence Whipple scholarship through the Idaho Nurses Association.

Betsy Molloy of North Fork, Idaho, was chosen as Coeur d’Alene Rotary Club Student of the Month for December.

•Inland Northwest Partners recently honored two local residents for their work in the Idaho community.

Darrell Kerby, the mayor of Bonners Ferry, Idaho, received the Hometown Hero Award.

Paul Anderson, the Coeur d’Alene Regional Business Manager of Avista Corp., was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award.
