The Gonzaga Bulldogs women’s basketball team hit the road for the first time this WCC season and came away with an 83-76 victory Thursday over preseason conference favorite San Diego.

The Bulldogs (12-6, 3-0 WCC) shot 56 percent in the first half and built a 43-31 halftime lead.

Heather Bowman led five Bulldogs in double figures, scoring 26 points on 10-for-13 shooting from the field and 6 of 7 from the free-throw line.

Kiva Herman scored 28 points to lead San Diego (9-7, 0-2).

Oregon 64, Washington State 45: At Eugene, Ore., Nicole Canepa scored 12 points and the Ducks (9-8, 3-3 Pac-10) put the game away with a 14-5 run in the second half.

Alexa Price led Washington State (3-14, 0-6) with 11 points.

Oregon State 68, Washington 64: The Huskies (7-11, 2-4 Pac-10) led by 12 points in the first half and by six at halftime, but the Beavers (9-8, 2-4) rallied to win at Corvallis, Ore.

Northern Colorado 71, Eastern Washington 57: At Greeley, Colo., Kate Kevorken scored 18 points to lead the Bears (8-8, 2-1 Big Sky) over the Eagles (3-15, 0-5), whose Amy Bratvold scored a team-high 13 points.

Nevada 76, Idaho 53: At Moscow, Idaho, Dellena Criner scored 29 points to lead the Wolf Pack (12-4, 3-0 WAC) past the Vandals (1-15, 0-4), who were led by Katie Madison with 22 points.

Wrestling

At Des Moines, Wash., North Idaho College picked up two dual-meet victories, defeating Highline 42-6 and Yakima Valley 47-6. The Cardinals won every match but the 157-pound class in both duals.
