Q’emiln Park boat ramp open
The boat ramp at Q’emiln Park is open now that Avista Utilities has closed the spill gates at Post Falls Dam.
Avista anticipates the boat ramp will remain open for the rest of the summer, but heavy rain could force Avista to reopen the spill gates. That would mean closure of the boat launch.
In addition, Avista announced Tuesday that it would try to keep the level of Lake Coeur d’Alene at 2,128 feet above sea level until Labor Day.
