Mitchell’s team wins

Professional Chris Mitchell led his team of Bill Haraldson, Mike Shirts, Glen Stocking and Paul Van Gordon to the championship of the Bank of America Pro-Am Thursday at Indian Canyon Golf Course.

A second-round score of 110 led to a two-day total of 228. Jackie and Joe Bengoechea, Brian Herzog, Ron Adamson plus pro Tim McElhinny won the day’s low honors at 109.

Chris Griffin of Tacoma C&GC shot a 9-under 63 to win low professional honors.

The Rosauers Open Invitational begins this morning.
