Spokane wallops Kitsap

Aaron Headrick went 3 for 5 with a pair of doubles and drove in three runs to power the Spokane RiverHawks to a 10-4 victory over the Kitsap BlueJackets in West Coast Collegiate Baseball League play on Saturday at Avista Stadium.

Mike Richard went seven innings to earn the victory for Spokane (16-15). He allowed two runs on six hits with four strikeouts and one walk.

Trey Watt took the loss for Kitsap (16-18). He gave up three runs on five hits in two innings of work.

The RiverHawks trail first-place Wenatchee by 11/2 games in the East Division.
