Sites make it easier to bookmark

The Spokesman-Review

We finally got around to looking at the new and improved Google toolbar (which is still in beta). It has three added features, the best of which is the now-common option of creating a bookmark list that can be retrieved wherever you log on.

Several other companies have done this same thing, creating a browser add-on that lets you collect and retrieve bookmarks when you want to go back and revisit. For Firefox, two plug-ins that do this nicely are Scrapbook and Zotero.

Now Google has the same thing. But like many other features introduced by Google, it can do even more.

On top of finding any bookmarked page, the new toolbar also lets you track (optionally) all your Web activity. Is this good? We’re not sure. But it certainly does let you open a history page and spot all in one place a pattern, such as a regular trend to visit eBay during workhours.
