DECA a means to end for grad
Carly Williams’ dreams of one day owning her own luxury car lot are moving closer to reality, thanks in part to her involvement in the Distributive Education Clubs of America at Rogers High School.
She developed a business plan for the car lot that was good enough to enter and place in a state competition and got a part-time job at the local Jaguar, Land Rover and Volvo dealership.
All this while working at the school store, playing varsity soccer, co-editing the high school yearbook and commuting from her South Side home.

Peers seek her leadership
Some may think natural leaders are those with the most domineering personalities or those with the loudest voices but Lakeside senior class president Jamie Wachter is neither.

Gonzaga Prep
G-prep worth senior’s sacrifice
Just how far would you go to get a good education? For Tiffany Wadel the answer is approximately 150 miles.
The Bonners Ferry teen didn’t even know Gonzaga Prep existed until she heard an ad for the school on the car radio. “I told my Mom I wanted to go,” she said.
Wadel has always been a motivated student with an unquenchable thirst for knowledge, a drive that has contributed to her stellar grades and naming as a Boise State scholar and recipient of the Presidential Award for Academic Excellence.
