Acreage wrong

Spokane County bought four parcels of land totaling 314.7 acres for $4.3 million at an April 10 auction of 570 acres of land at Spokane Raceway Park. The largest of the parcels purchased by the county covers 198.37 acres and encompasses a drag strip, oval track and road course. Acreage figures were incorrect in stories published in Tuesday and Wednesday editions.

Jewelry misrepresented

The man who robbed the Artistry in Gold jewelry store Monday was described by witnesses as being in his early 20s. The stolen items were a yellow gold necklace and a white gold ring. Because of incorrect information provided to the newspaper, an article Wednesday said otherwise.
